Along with detecting country codes by IP based on the data obtained from routers, WIPmania makes possible to detect such address types ("service codes") as those concealing users whose location can’t be defined. A “regular” user doesn’t access the Internet via anonymous proxy or via his own VPN, installed, for example, on some server in China. In similar fashion, servers are not always used for innocent purposes but as well, for example, for scanning, spamming and fraud, by means of private or hidden proxy, spam bots or VPN installed on the server.
